Vicky D. Riesen

Vicky D. Riesen, age 74, of Salamonia, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born November 14, 1951, in Decatur, Indiana, to the late Rex and Doris (Richards) Riesen.

In addition to her parents, Vicky was preceded in death by her siblings, Jackie (Perry Hanlin) Whitcomb, and Doug (Lora) Riesen; and her nephew, Sean Whitcomb.

Vicky is survived by her daughter, Casi (Adrian) Grube of Fort Recovery, and Allison Affolder of Salamonia; her grandchildren, Aden, Carson, and Alivia Grube; her siblings, Randy (Melanie Morningstar) Riesen of Warsaw, Indiana, and Toni Riesen of Bluffton, Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vicky’s family was the center of her world and her greatest source of happiness. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, taking great joy in spoiling them, attending their activities, and celebrating their accomplishments. Her love and devotion to her family were evident in everything she did. A close second to her family was her passion for plants. Blessed with a true green thumb, Vicky found joy in nurturing and caring for her many plants. She also enjoyed crafting, going to garage sales, and attending auctions.

A celebration of Vicky’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
