Robert A. Mertz, 82, 4050 North Star-Fort Loramie Rd., New Weston, died at 11:50 A.M. May 2, 2010, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born May 14, 1927, in Anna, Ohio, to the late John Mertz and the late Catherine Behr. On February 24, 1949, he married Alvera J. Steinbrunner, who survives.

He is a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, OH and its Holy Name Society. Funeral Mass is 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio. Burial is at St. Bernard Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 P.M. Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00-9:45 A.M. at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
