Rhoda L. Derringer , 84, Winchester, Indiana, died Friday, October 12, 2012 , at Persimmon Ridge, Portland, Indiana.
She was born April 3, 1928, in Butler, KY, to Americus Roberts and Efie (Stacey). On
October 12, 1968, she married the late Jim Derringer, who died February 17, 2007.
Surviving are 3 daughters - Lana Bias of Celina, OH, Twila (Larry) Blowers of Greenville, OH, Pam (Rick) Gabbard of Winchester, IN; son - Kenny (Helen) Williams of Saratoga, IN; step son - Darrel Derringer of Portland, IN; step daughter - Deanna (Randy) Mock of Portland, IN; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
Also deceased are son, Jeff Williams, a grandson, and 2 great grandchildren.
She retired from Fort Recovery Industries, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Ridgeville, IN, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Union City, IN, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Services are 7:30 pm Tuesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, OH. Burial is at Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia, Indiana.
Calling is 4:00 pm-7:30 pm Tuesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
