He was born February 25, 1932, in Fort Recovery, OH, to the late Stephen Evers and the late Agnes Fiely . On May 16, 1953, he married Mary Voskuhl, who survives.
Also surviving are 4 sons - Mike (Mary) Evers of Fort Recovery, OH, Marion (Jayma) Evers of Fort Recovery, OH, Marvin Evers of Fort Recovery, OH, Martin (Heather) Evers of Fort Recovery, OH; 5 daughters - Marilyn (Ernest) Wendel of St. Henry, OH, Madonna Evers of Edmonton, KY, Mary Agnes (Chris) Moorman of St. Henry, OH, Martha (Scott) Trobridge of Fort Recovery, OH, Margaret "Peg" (Gary) Lange of St. Henry, OH; 2 brothers - Paul (Rogene) Evers of St. Marys, OH, Eugene (Ann) Evers of St. Henry, OH; 2 sisters - Joan (Ernest) Wenning of New Bremen, OH, Eileen (George) Delzeith of St. Henry, OH; 22 Grandchildren; and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Deceased are sister, Norma Wenning and 3 grandchildren.
He was employed at Les Wenning Ford, Fort Recovery Equity & Hull Brothers, all of Fort Recovery and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Tri-State Tractor & Gas Engine Association and St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, Ohio.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 am, Friday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Wendelin, Ohio, Fr. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at St. Wendelin Cemetery, Wendelin, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Thursday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Friday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
