Margaret G. Tobe , 94, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on November 20, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born April 14, 1917, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Henry Wenning and the late Anna Isverding. On November 25, 1950, she married the late Bert J. Tobe, who died January 12, 1994.
Surviving are 4 daughters - Joann (Vern) Steinbrunner of Fort Recovery, OH, Elizabeth (John) Rosenbeck of Fort Recovery, OH, Evelyn (Jack) Schmiesing of Sidney, OH, Dorothy Tobe of Denver, CO; 3 sons - Virgil (Lucy) Tobe of Fort Recovery, OH, Lester (Therese) Tobe of Fort Recovery, OH, Michael (Margaret) Tobe of Celina, OH; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister - Henrietta Hart of Versailles, OH.
Deceased are 7 brothers, Isadore, Ben, Leo, Ivo, and Eldon Wenning, Emmitt Bonifas and Leonard Bonifas: 2 sisters, Pauline Moorman and Bernie Fiala.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio and it's Ladies Guild.
Funeral mass is 10:30 am, Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, Ohio, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at St. Bernard Cemetery, Burkettsville, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Friday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
