Joan M. Schoenherr, 86, Coldwater, Ohio, died on June 3, 2014, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born September 20, 1927, in Celina, OH, to the late August Jutte and the late Mary (Moeder) Jutte. On June 17, 1950, she married Joseph Schoenherr, who died August 24, 2013.
Surviving are six sons, Ken (Connie) Schoenherr of Fort Recovery, OH, Don (Karen) Schoenherr of Coldwater, Joe (Sandy) Schoenherr of Coldwater, Matt (Linda) Schoenherr of Fort Recovery, Karl (Barb) Schoenherr of Fort Recovery, and Bill (Janel) Schoenherr of Coldwater; two daughters, Pat (Jim) Brockman of Fort Recovery and Nancy (Craig) Heckman of Osgood, OH; eight brothers, Paul Jutte of Coldwater, Luke (Betty) Jutte of Versailles, OH, Mark (Thelma) Jutte of Fort Recovery, Julius (Betty) Jutte of Fort Recovery, Al Jutte of Osgood, OH, August (Betty) Jutte of St. Henry, OH, Zeno Jutte of St. Henry, OH, and Leonard (Betty) Jutte of Rockford, OH; 27 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and a brother-in-law, Lavern Vagades of Coldwater.
Deceased are three infant children, James, Gerald and Mary, a brother, Carl Jutte, five sisters, Esther Keller, Mary Nieberding, Luella Barga, Helen Vagedes, and Addy Hess, and 3 grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, Ohio, the Christians Mothers Sodality of the church, and was a church choir member for over 65 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and being with family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Saturday, June 7, 2014 at St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, Fr. Thomas Dorn and Fr. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, St. Peter, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Saturday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice.
