Hildred A. Betz , 101, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 , at her residence.
She was born January 5, 1911, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Edward Smith and the late Maude Martin. On
August 2, 1936, she married the late Dorsey "Jake" Betz , who died November 29, 1986.
Surviving are son - John Betz of Fort Recovery, OH; brother - Gene (Lora) Smith of Ada, OH; daughter-in-law - Bobbie Betz of Fort Recovery, OH; 2 sisters-in-law - Marcele Smith of Celina, OH and Lucille Smith of Coldwater, OH; and several nieces & nephews.
Deceased are son, James Betz; 4 brothers, Lowell, Bertram, Bill, and Roger Smith; 2 sisters, Alice Smalley and Mary Ashman, and 2 infant siblings.
She retired from the Fort Recovery Industries, Fort Recovery and was a member of the Fort Recovery United Methodist Church, Fort Recovery.
Services are 10:30 am Monday, June 18, 2012 at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial is at Macedon Cemetery, Coldwater, Ohio.
Calling is 3:00 pm-6:00 pm Sunday and 9:30 am-10:30 am Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
