Helen R. Guggenbiller, 89, Burkettsville, Ohio, died at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born April 7, 1921, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, to the late Bernard Brockman and the late Mary Fullenkamp. On November 22, 1945 she married Clarence J. Guggenbiller who died October 3, 1994.
Surviving are Daughter, Barbara (Robert) Whitacre of Palmetto, FL, Son, Carl (Linda) Guggenbiller of Celina,, OH, Daughter, Norma (Paul) Wermert of Coldwater, OH, Son, John (Dorothy) Guggenbiller of St. Henry, OH, Daughter, Diane Monnin & fiance' Thomas Oliver of Winchester, IN, Brother, Melvin (Lois) Brockman of Vandalia, OH, Sister, Marcella Koesters of Chickasaw, OH, Sister-In-Law, Frances Limbert of Dayton, OH, Sister-In-Law, Hilda Benanzer of Fort Loramie, OH, Sister-In-Law, Corrine Guggenbiller of Union City, IN, Brother-In-Law, Sylvester (Alice) Guggenbiller of Fort Recovery, OH, 22 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren.
Deceased are 1 infant daughter, Marie; 1 son-in-law, Ronald Monnin; 1 brother, Arnold Brockman; and 4 sisters, Laurine Hart, Mary Ann Buemer, Philomena Jackson, and Elizabeth Hirsch.
She was formerly employed at NCR, Dayton and worked with her husband on the family farm.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville and also the Altar Rosary Sodality of both St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville and St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, Ohio. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Rev. Tom Hemm, officiating. Burial is at St. Paul Cemetery, Sharpsburg, OH.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 9-9:45 a.m. at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
