Hazel Rae Parker

Hazel Rae Parker, age 7, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with Lissencephaly.

She was born on November 27, 2017, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to her loving parents, Clinton "Clint" and Brandy (Young) Parker of Decatur.

In addition to her mommy and daddy, Hazel is cherished by her big sister, Nora; grandparents, Roger and Alisa Young of Eaton, Ohio, and Michael and Diana Parker of Decatur; great-grandparents, Bob and Nancy Crye of Eaton; her aunts and uncles, Brittany and Shannon Clark of Greenville, Ohio, Tiffany and Trent Alspaugh of Ossian, Indiana, and Nate and Betsy Parker of Decatur; and her cousins, Nevaeh, Island, and Castle Clark. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Olive Clark.

Hazel was a bright light, full of energy and joy. She loved jumping, listening to music, especially Baby Shark, and playing with her favorite pink and yellow rattle ball. She delighted in noise, bright colors, and twinkling lights. Hazel enjoyed being outdoors, spending countless hours swimming, hiking, and exploring with her family. She had a deep love for animals and brought joy to others with her laughter and playful spirit.
