Geraldine Crabtree

Geraldine S. Crabtree, 77, Fort Recovery, died at 2:07 p.m. April 29, at Union City Care Center, Union City.
She was born June 4, 1933, in Hartford City, Ind., to Clarence and Leona Craig Shatto.
Survivors include four daughters, Vickie VanTrees, St. Marys, Jeanie (Rick) Wolslagel, Xenia, Peggy (Hoby) Bruce, Celina, and Pam (Craig) Idle, Union City; a brother, John (Pat) Lee, Portland, Ind.; five sisters, Pat Nichols, New Castle, Ind., Phyllis Davis, Warren, Mich., Janice Miller, Battle Creek, Mich., Margaret Ayers, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Ruth (Harold) James, Huddy, Ky.; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin and Jimmy Shatto and James Wine; and two sisters, Helen Wise and Joan Fraga.
She was a member of Chattanooga United Methodist Church, Chattanooga, and the VFW Auxiliary Post 6515, Fort Recovery.
Services are 2:30 pm. Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Burial is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
