Georgiana Meiring

Georgiana Meiring, 93, 2062 Watkins Rd., Fort Recovery, died December 17, 2009 at 4:10 P.M., at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born April 23, 1916, in Philothea, Ohio, to the late George B. Dues and the late Veronica Thieman. She married her husband, Herbert Meiring on January 17, 1942 at Sharpsburg, Ohio.
Surviving are Daughter, Jeanne (Russell) Belle of Town & Country, Missouri, Daughter, Nancy Knapke of Fort Recovery, OH, Son, Jack (Ann) Meiring of Rural Jay County, IN, Daughter, Helen (Cy) LeFevre of Fort Recovery, OH, Daughter, Sharon (Jim) Zehringer of Fort Recovery, OH, 13 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, Brother-In-Law, Rich (Mary) Meiring of Fort Recovery, OH, Sister-In-Law, Dolores (Don) Kahlig of Fort Recovery, OH, and Sister-In-Law, Jean Meiring of Fort Recovery, OH.
Deceased are Son-in-law, Dick Knapke; brother and sister-in-law, Norman & Merilda Meiring Dues; and brother-in-law, Tom Meiring.
She is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, OH and it's Altar Rosary Sodality. She was an active volunteer at Mercer County Community Hospital and the former Briarwood Manor, both of Coldwater, and the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 at St. Paul Catholic Church, the Fr. Charles Mullen officiating.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:45 a.m. Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Burial is in the church cemetery.
