Edwin C. "Buss" Faller, 92, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died January 26, 2014 at The Gardens at St. Henry located in St. Henry, OH.
He was born October 29, 1921, in Coldwater, OH, to the late Leo and Veronica (Hoening) Faller . On June 10, 1944, he married Agnes (Bricher) Faller, who survives at The Gardens at St. Henry.
Also surviving are 3 daughters - Sharon (Jack) Stemen of Butler, IN, Diane Hatton of Englewood, OH and Cathy (Ken) Brackman of Coldwater, OH; 2 sons - Rick (Deb) Faller of Roswell, GA and John (Pauline) Faller of Fort Recovery, OH; 4 sisters - Ethel Jutte of Fort Recovery, OH, Ruthane Cross of Pittsburg, PA, Virginia Schwieterman of St. Henry, OH and Kathleen Faller of Fort Recovery, OH; 2 brothers - Jim (Mary) Faller of Rossburg, OH and Richard (Betty) Faller of Coldwater, OH and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Faller, Celina,OH. There are 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant son, Thomas, a brother, Harold Faller and 3 brothers-in-law, Albert Jutte, Robert Cross and Dennis Schwieterman.
He retired from the Equity Dairy, Fort Recovery, OH.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who had served in World War II in the European Theatre. He was a member of the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed baseball, hunting, following his children and grandchildrens' sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, with Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the American Legion, Fort Recovery, OH.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
