David Glentzer

David M. Glentzer, 61, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on November 5, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born June 3, 1950, in Portland, IN, to the late David Glentzer and Georgia Hazelwood. His mother, Georgia Bertke survives in Fort Recovery, Ohio. On November 1, 1971, he married Taew Sooksai, who survives.
Other survivors are son - Tom Glentzer of Fort Recovery, OH; 2 daughters - JoAnne Glentzer of Fort Recovery, OH, Renee (Brad) Will of St. Marys, OH; 2 Half Sisters - Ronni Price of Decatur, IN, Rita Le (Jim) Randol of Rome City, IN; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are brother, William Glentzer, and step father, LeRoy Bertke.
He was a 1968 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Fort Recovery and was employed at Zumstein, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Graveside services are 2:00 pm, Wednesday, at St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joe, Ohio, the Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joe, Ohio.
Calling is 12:00 pm-1:45 pm Wednesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
