Cyrillus A. "Cy" Wendel, 79, 201 Harrison St., Fort Recovery, died at 7:35 P.M. at his residence
He was born November 28, 1930 in St. Peter, Ohio to the late Joseph Wendel and the late Catherine Voskuhl. He married the late Nancy (Steva) on October 23, 1954 at St. Joe, Ohio and she survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Schmitts Fur Farm, Fort Recovery, Ohio after 46 years. He is a Life member, Past Commander, Bing Caller & Financial officer of the American Legion Post 345, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515, both of Fort Recovery and a Bingo Caller for Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Services are 10:30 A.M. Monday, February 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, Ohio and Fr. Charles Mullen is officiating.
Visitation is 1-6 P.M. Sunday and Monday from 9-9:45 A.M. at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
