Betty Elson

Betty Earlene Elson, 77, 312 N. Wayne St., Fort Recovery, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Friday, March 31, 1933, in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Earl H. Arnett and the late Verna Duvall. On August 14, 1971 she married Erie C. Elson, who survives.

Deceased is 1-brother, Hubert "Butch" Arnett, 1 sister, Nilah Helton; 1 great grandson and step mother, Ruth Arnett.
She was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Ft. Recovery, OH. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at Church of the Nazarene, Ft. Recovery, OH, Rev. Dennis Kelley and Rev. Verl Ballmer, officiating. Burial is at Teegarden Cemetery, Union City, Ohio.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and Friday from 9:30 a.m. till services at the church. Contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation .
