Sheila A. Bias

Sheila A. Bias , 52, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died April 13, 2014 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, OH. She was born September 4, 1961 in Portland, IN, to the late Vitus and Doris ( Magoteaux) Wendel. In 2006, she married Terry Bias, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Alisha Wendel of Coldwater, OH, Sara Sall of Newark, OH, and Amanda Katterhenry of Indianapolis, IN; two step daughters, Amanda (Harold) Stocker of Fort Recovery, OH and Shannon Bias of Portland, IN; a brother, Steve (Janet) Wendel of Fort Recovery, OH; three sisters, Diana (LaMoyne) McCoy of Fort Recovery, OH, Karla (Dewey) Osborne of Redkey, IN and Janel (Michael) Keller of Berne, IN; 8 grand children, 3 step grand children and 8 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step grandson, Austin Stocker. She is a 1979 graduate of Jay County High School and was employed at Setex, St. Mary's, Ohio.She was a member and current president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, Fort Recovery. She has held the office of president for the past 12 years. Services are 1:00 pm Thursday at the home of Terry and Sheila Bias, Fort Recovery, with the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow. Contributions can be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County or the Cancer Association of Jay County.
