Marceil R. Abels, 67, 1776 St. Rt. 49, Fort Recovery, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2010, at her residence.
She was born December 23, 1942, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, to the late Bernard Heitkamp and the late Alvina Esser. On February 7, 1970 she married Walter L. Abels, who survives.

Deceased are 5 Brothers, Jerry, Eugene, Bernard Jr., Kenny, and Donald Heitkamp; 2 sisters, Shirley McClain, and Betty Guthrie.
She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Ft. Recovery, Ohio. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio, the Fr. Thomas Dorn, officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Ft. Recovery, OH.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. till services at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
