He was born May 18, 1927, in Carthagena, OH, to Charles Link and Anna Wuebker. On November 28, 1953, he married Wilma M. Goettemoeller who survives.

He retired from New Idea, Coldwater, Ohio, was a retired farmer, and a member of United Steelworkers of America, Coldwater, Ohio. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio and services are 10:30 AM, November 17, 2010 at the church. Rev. Thomas Dorn is officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio
