Kenneth A. Phillips Sr.

Kenneth A. Phillips Sr., 85, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died Friday, January 13, 2012, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford, Ohio.
He was born December 21, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, MO, to William Phillips and Pauline (Hefner) Phillips. On March 21, 1969, he married the late Etta Mae (Thornburg) Phillips, who died January 6, 2009.
Surviving are two sons - Kenneth (Diana) Phillips Jr. of Hartford City, IN, Mark Phillips of Hartford City, IN; five daughters - Nickie Hancock of Parker City, IN, Connie Hill of Albany, IN, Teresa (Mike) Capper of Hartford City, IN, Robyn (Robert) Cunnington of Parker City, IN, Polly (Todd) Carl of Marshalltown, IA; step-son - Gary Cassada of Jay County, IN; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Deceased are daughter, Patricia Phillips, brother, Clifford Phillips, and three grandchildren.
He was retired as a Tool and Die Maker at Fort Recovery Industries, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Graveside services are being held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio, the Rev. Verl Ballmer, officiating. Contributions can be made to donor's choice.
