David P. Bubp, 67, Coldwater, Ohio and formerly of Fort Recovery, died December 11, 2014 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, OH.
He was born May 19, 1947, in Celina, OH, to the late Frederick "Albert" Bubp and the late Mary (Moeller) Bubp. On September 6, 1969, he married Cheryl (Timmons) Bubp, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Chris) Moeller of St. Henry, OH and Mindy (John) Imel of Coldwater; a son, Eric Bubp of Coldwater; two brothers, Tom (Marilyn) Bubp of Englewood, OH and Steve Bubp of Van Wert, OH; a sister, Janice (Ralph) Jutte of Hebron, OH; ten grandchildren, Justin, Hailey, Kelsey, Kiley, Kailyn, Hank, Taylor, Serenity, Landen and Dailyn; three in-laws, Susie (Dave) Platt of Cicerio, IN, Cindy (Jim) Carter of Portland, IN, and Sandy (Mike) Mertz of Geneva, IN; and numerous foreign exchange students.
Deceased are his infant sister, Virginia Bubp; two brothers, James Bubp and Jerry Bubp; and a sister-in-law, Charlene Bubp.
He was a 1965 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Fort Recovery and attended Ohio State University.
He was a former co-owner of Fort Recovery Lumber Company, Fort Recovery.
He enjoyed spending time at his winter home in Marco Island, FL, especially with his friends. His family and friends will greatly miss his dry, witty sense of humor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, December 15, 2014 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, the Fr. Ron Wilker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 2:00 pm-6:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
