Ava Kremer

Ava N. Kremer, age 15, of Fort Recovery, passed away on December 5, 2019 at home. She was born September 28, 2004, in Troy, OH, to Clint and Nikki (Roessner) Kremer, who survive.
Also surviving are her siblings, Ella, Cora, and Eli Kremer, all of home; grandparents, Nick and Lois Kremer and Dave and Janet Roessner, all of Fort Recovery; and her great grandmother, Peg Bergman of Fort Recovery.
Preceding her in death are great grandparents, Paul and Mary Ann Kremer, Elmer and Luella Bruns, Harold and Helen Staugler, Norb Roessner and Melvin Bergman.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, Ohio.
As a young child, Ava loved running, swinging, and going down slides. The house doors had special locks because she was always escaping to the outdoors. Her parents could often be seen chasing her down, as she had two left feet and fell often. She had an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. As Ava got older, she enjoyed interacting with her peers in gym and music. She loved when her classmates would read to her. Her teachers, loved taking her on walks throughout the Fort Recovery hallways. Ava especially loved the song, You Are My Sunshine, which resonated thru her personality. Somehow, someway, even though she lost her ability to talk, she helped others let their light shine. Kindness, compassion, strength, and courage are just a few of the characteristics she evoked from others. She brought the community together for some great projects, fundraisers, and even a house. Ava was a gift sent from above. She was a blessing to those she met, those she didn’t, and now to the Angels, who welcomed her with open arms. Running, swinging, talking, and singing has never been so good.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, December 9, 2019 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Ned Brown as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, St. Peter.
Calling is 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
